Banking Center Manager

The banking center manager ensures that the financial needs of our current clients are met while developing potential relationships. They are responsible for the daily oversight of branch operations following all procedures and policies in compliance with bank regulations. Branch management goals relate to deposit and loan growth, controlling expenses, and improved revenues. In this leadership role, they promote an exceptional sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and training; holding each team member accountable for results. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage employees and lead the day to day responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of colleagues
  • Assist with customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Banking Center reporting
  • Mortgage Loan Origination
    • Solicits and accepts residential mortgage loan applications while developing relationships within the community
    • Conducts a preliminary review of loan applications to determine eligibility and provide financing options
    • Serve as the main point of contact with the customer throughout the home buying process, ensuring all appropriate documentation is obtained
  • Maintain and develop consumer accounts
  • Identify loan and deposit and bank services that meet client's needs
  • Ability to conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or closely related experience is required.
  • Five or more years of banking with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Lending experience is a plus.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An enthusiastic and outgoing personality, a strong willingness to help others and a professional image is needed.
  • Confidentiality with a high degree of integrity is mandatory.
    • The candidate must also qualify for a valid NMLS certification.
  • Ability to sit, file, bend, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, and to lift up to 25 pounds.

This role is responsible for the location inside ADM North American Headquarters and a location on North Water Street in Decatur, IL across from Brettwood Village.
